My name is Matthew Cude, I'm currently studying education studies in Swansea Metropolitan university. Throughout my first two years in college i never really had any intention of going to university once i had finished my course.
However, when i repeated my second year in college (failed year 2 first time round) i decided that going to university was the best option that i could take, as i only had a part-time job so not many hours. Also a friend of mine had already begun the education studies course and he told me about the course and it sounded like something i wanted to do. I originally applied for a course in Cardiff studying police sciences, however i realised that this course was not what i wanted to at the minute and so applied for the BA Hons Education Studies course and was accepted through clearing.
A major factor in why i wanted to do this course as well was that i currently coach a football team in my local area. By doing this coaching and enjoying it so much, it made me realise that going into teaching as a profession was something that interested me a lot.
